Mother's Day is a day we honor and highlight Mother's for not only all that they do, but for doing it all. Mother's work incredibly hard every day to ensure multiple obstacles are handled and have to wake up and do it all over again day after day. Mother's truly do it all. 

Therefore, this month we wanted to partner with Birth Blossoms, an organization that promotes and assists in the choice of natural childbirth. Their three midwives not only assist mothers in their labor journey, but they also aid with their postpartum journey as well. Their kindness towards mothers is something we admire and we want to thank them as well as celebrate the mothers in their community.

For that reason, we donated 6 Mother's Day baskets filled with goodies for Mothers as they begin or continue their motherhood journey. Each basket contains self- care items, that we hope they enjoy, and gives them an extra reason to smile Mother’s Day. As always, paying it forward to not only one another, but our community is what truly matters.

Guardians for New Futures is a non-profit organization located in Port St. Lucie, FL. Established in 1991, this organization has been educating the community on how to properly recognize child mistreatment and how to properly report it to protect children from future harm. GFNF4Kids mission is to, “Advocate for abused children while increasing community awareness and education to further protect children.” And we are so happy to support them through this journey.

April is Child Abuse Awareness month. We want to support one of the many organizations that works extremely hard to bring awareness to the importance of safety as they fight to end child abuse. As always, we’re happy to say this month is another addition to our successful Pay it Forward campaign and we are very excited for what this year has in store for us. Paying it Forward to not only one another, but our community is what truly matters.

Two Way Radio Gear was happy to support the local event, "Treasure Coast Cars and Coffee" for the month of March. This is a community event that draws both adults and children of all ages through their love for cars. We were a part of their sponsor list that helped support, The Kids Zone.

The Kids Zone is a state-of-the-art video gaming trailer that includes arcade games, laser tag, and other gaming fun. We are so happy to support our community in any way and as always, paying it forward to not only one another, but our community is once again what truly matters.

This month we had the pleasure of donating to Fairlawn Elementary School. Upon our initial visit we were greeted with smiles and they informed us they would really appreciate little treats to remind their students to keep working hard and to continue doing a great job. Well, those words were heard and we are so pleased to report we donated to their wonderful schoolhouse store. 

We had the pleasure of contributing books (comprehensive and reading) of all grade levels, candy, art supplies, Mr. & Mrs. Potato Heads, board games, school supplies, and so much more. When these items were donated the staff was so appreciative and thanked us for everything. It’s safe to say this month was a success and we can’t wait to see what next month holds as well as this year! Paying it Forward to not only one another, but our community is what truly matters.

This month we kicked off the new year in a very special way with our very first Pay it Forward of the year. We had the pleasure of donating feminine hygiene products, makeup, makeup accessories, nail kits, art supplies, inspirational journals, self care items, and so much more to Pace Center for Girls, Treasure Coast. These items will be placed in Pace's in-house boutique where they can earn points to make a purchase of any of these items. We are so happy that Pace once again welcomed us with open arms and allowed us to donate these items. 

We truly appreciate Pace Center for Girls and cannot wait to see what the future holds this year for them. 

St. Lucie's Sheriff's PAL has hosted their annual Toy Run for 16 years now and each year they have gotten bigger and better. This year we had the pleasure of supporting this delightful event and we could not be any happier. All of the toys/proceeds will be going to underprivileged youth who live in St. Lucie County for Christmas as well as youth programs. As always, we are so thankful to be a part of such a marvelous cause and look forward to assisting our community and our members within. We want to wish everyone in this organization as well as the attendees a Happy Holidays.  

Two Way Radio Gear, is grateful to be supporting Taylor's battle against a Paraganglioma Tumor. This past November, Taylor started to experience unusual medical symptoms and scheduled a Doctor's appointment. After her appointment, Taylor received the most unexpected news, she was diagnosed with a rare tumor known as Paraganglioma. This rare tumor affects 2-8 people out of 1 million people every year. And after her diagnosis, it was determined that Taylor would need surgery. 

Hearing Taylor's story not only captured our attention, but it also felt as though we were called to support her in any way we could. Therefore, we have donated to her GoFundMe to help assist with her medical expenses and care post surgery. We are so hopeful that with the help of her husband, family, and church, Taylor's medical journey is filled with support and strength. 

This month to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday we have partnered with Pace Center for Girls, Treasure Coast. Their annual, "Pace" Giving event was filled with a wonderful Thanksgiving meal as well as an afternoon of laughter and joy. These young ladies and staff were treated to a catered lunch from us here at Two Way Radio Gear, and it was an absolute pleasure. We not only learned more about Pace Center for Girls, but also learned about the young ladies that attend.

We are so thankful they allowed us to be apart of their "Pace" Giving and we hope the staff and young ladies enjoy their holiday. 

The TuTu Project began in 2003, due to Linda Carey's breast cancer diagnosis. Linda did beat her first battle with breast cancer, however 3 years later she would be diagnosed once more. During both battles Linda has had the support of her family, friends, and husband, Bob Carey. Bob has stated, "So many people in Linda’s life, myself included, have been in awe of the power, beauty, and spirit she carries with her, despite everything that’s going on within her." Therefore, inspired by his wife's strength Bob launched the TuTu project in 2006. He also published a novel entitled, "Ballerina" which captured anyone who was affected by breast cancer. Bob wanted to shed light on the support fighters and survivors of breast cancer need everyday. 

Their mission statement at The TuTu Project is to raise awareness and funds for both men and women as well as their families to help assist with the financial stresses that come alongside breast cancer diagnosis. Therefore, this month we have donated to this special organization. We know that the battle with breast cancer is a long and hard one, but please know we support you. We are so pleased for our ability to donate to this special organization, especially during breast cancer awareness month. To each and every fighter and survivor or breast cancer please know that you are not alone, and are supported.
