The Motorola BPR45 is a rugged, IP55-rated analog business two-way radio built for teams that need dependable all-day communication without the cost or complexity of digital systems. With 64 channels, up to 16 hours of battery, USB-C charging and up to 3W of loud, clear audio, the BPR45 is a simple, reliable choice for construction, warehousing, hospitality, schools, retail and facilities crews.

Built for the Workday

The BPR45 comes ready to work straight out of the box — battery, belt clip and drop-in desktop charger included. Its 2200 mAh Li-Ion battery delivers up to 16 hours on a charge, and USB-C means you can top it up from the desktop tray, a car charger, or the same cables your team already carries. Up to 3W of speaker output cuts through loud environments, while voice and channel announcements, priority scan, nuisance-channel delete and two programmable side buttons keep operation fast and hands-free. VOX support lets crews talk without pressing a button when their hands are full.

Durable and Reliable

The BPR45 is built to survive the environments it works in. An IP55 rating seals it against dust and water spray, and the radio is guaranteed to withstand a 5-foot drop onto concrete. At just 300 g (10.6 oz) it stays comfortable on a belt through a full shift. Available in both VHF (136–174 MHz) and UHF (400–470 MHz) models, the BPR45 is compatible with the Motorola RDX Series and most other analog radios, and can be paired with existing analog UHF repeaters to extend coverage across large sites.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the BPR45 work with the Motorola RDX Series?

Yes. The Motorola BPR45 can be programmed to work with the RDX Series and most other analog two-way radios, so it drops into fleets you already own.

Does the BPR45 work with repeaters?

Yes. The BPR45 is compatible with existing UHF repeaters when programmed in analog mode, letting you extend coverage across large or multi-building sites.

What's the difference between the VHF and UHF models?

The VHF model (136–174 MHz) is generally better for open outdoor areas; the UHF model (400–470 MHz) performs better inside buildings and around structures. Choose the band that matches any radios or repeaters you already run.

Does it come ready to use?

Yes. Every BPR45 ships with a 2200 mAh battery, belt clip, drop-in desktop charger, USB-C cable, power supply, antenna and documentation. Choose "Pre-Programmed" and we'll set it up before it ships; choose "Needs Programming" if your team programs its own.
