Free radio programming: how it works
There is no charge for programming with your radio order. Select your programming preference on the product page. If you choose No Programming, you are requesting the radios without programming by our team.
- Tell us about your fleet. Send the existing radio models, UHF/VHF band where applicable, channel frequencies and channel names. Include analog tone settings or digital system details if available.
- Share the configuration. Use the custom-programming upload where offered, or contact our team with your order or quote reference. If you do not have the settings, tell us what radios you use so we can advise on the next step.
- Confirm compatibility and timing. Our team can review the requested setup before fulfillment. If the radios or system are incompatible, we will help identify the appropriate next step. Confirm availability and programming turnaround for your specific order.
Programming does not supply an FCC license or make every radio compatible with every fleet. Licensing depends on the equipment and intended use. WAVE PTX radios require an active service plan and provisioning; monthly service is separate from equipment and conventional-radio programming.
