Do I need a specific cable to use this?

Can I use this on a Mac?
No. Motorola Solutions develops CPS exclusively for Windows. Mac users will need to run a Windows virtualization tool like Parallels.
Will this work for older analog radios?
This download is for the models listed in the compatibility section above. Compact CLP1010e and CLP1080e business radios use their own programming software, not CPS 2.0. Motorola DTR700 digital business radios also follow a separate programming path. Other digital radios and older analog-only models may require different or legacy programming software. Contact our support team if you're unsure.
