Radio and monthly service costs

Choose pay-as-you-go service or a 30-month contract. Monthly service is charged per radio and billed directly by Motorola.

  • Pay as you go: Pay $399 for the radio at checkout. Service costs $25/month for Base or $30/month with SafeGuard.
  • 30-month contract: Service costs $40/month for Base or $45/month with SafeGuard. The $0.01 checkout charge is a setup request, not the radio price or monthly service fee. It does not activate a contract. Our team will confirm your eligibility, review the agreement with you and arrange activation before shipment.

SafeGuard adds $5/month to either Base plan. WAVE PTX Mobile App and Dispatch subscriptions are separate. Prices are in USD; taxes and shipping are additional.

Using the TLK 200

  • Cellular and Wi-Fi: The multi-carrier SIM selects the strongest available network at startup and looks for another network if the connection is lost.
  • Voice messages: Leave an update when you don't need a live conversation. Call fallback can turn a call to a busy recipient into a recorded message.
  • Audio: Wideband audio and noise suppression help make speech easier to hear in noisy areas.
  • Controls and housing: A grip suited to gloves, a monochrome display and antimicrobial housing.

SafeGuard safety features and roaming

The SafeGuard add-on includes Emergency Calling and Alerting, Lone Worker, Fall Alert, Location-Based Talkgroups and roaming in the United States, Canada and Mexico. North American roaming is limited to 30 consecutive days; check with us about current plan terms before travel. Indoor room-level tracking requires a separate Location Tech integration.
