For the month of March, Boys & Girls Clubs of St Lucie County is our ‘pay it forward’ campaign recipient. The mission of this organization is to enable all young people, especially those most in need, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. This year is the 25th anniversary of the BGC of St Lucie County and Two Way Radio Gear, Inc has joined the transportation committee to help raise funds to reach the goal of purchasing 5 vans, 1 for each clubhouse in the county to use. By acquiring new transportation, club members will be able to engage in new educational experiences that they might not have access to such as the beach, zoo, museums, college tours and sporting events.
Two Way Radio Gear, Inc made a $1000 donation to this campaign and we are actively involved attending monthly committee meetings and reaching out to community partners to assist in the remaining fundraising needed to reach their goal. We are pleased to report that 4 vehicles have already been secured and we are more then halfway to completing the funding for the final vehicle.
